I was really hoping they would fit as we have 5 inch cans that need replacing. It would be ideal to have a daylight balanced LED that would fit into our existing hole, with the electrical junction box attached. Except for a manufacturing defect. 2 stars for a really great concept but poor execution. Went to install to make sure they work properly. These units do not match the photos in the Revain description or the photos in the installation guide in the box. (See my photos then read below.) All product photos show wire holes at 90 degrees to the spring arms. This allows the spring arms to operate without interference from the incoming 120V AC power cord (which is stiff and heavy). Box as a spring-loaded lever that fixes the lamp to the ceiling. This means I can't push the spring arm on the side far enough to slide the lamp through the existing hole in the ceiling. It's even worse if I follow the rules and add a strain relief clamp (which is NOT included with the lamp) as it takes up even more space. send her back
