So first the good….it is easy to put in and take off. My dog looks super comfy in it. I purchased this because he will not wear a regular cone. He freezes up and will just cry. He has cancer and tumors on his front paw/legs that bother him so we needed to prevent him from licking. This collar, coupled with a bandage, has helped greatly. He can still reach the paw and leg but it does help deter his desire to lick. So it has given a break so we don’t have to monitor him 24/7. He walks freely with this on and will eat, drink, and play while wearing it. When it gets dirty I have just been taking a dank rag to wipe clean and hang to set. Now for the bad….the second time I put it on him the drawstring broke. I had to replace it with my own more sturdy drawstring. He has only been wearing it for 6 days and I already noticed stitching on the seams is coming apart. He does not chew on it. And doesn’t even wear it 24/7. He mostly just wears it during the day time and it comes off in the evening and for bed. So for the price the durability just isn’t there. And he isn’t even rough on it. So overall it has been helpful and I do like it but it just isn’t going to hold up. And for the price it just isn’t a good value.
