After my last review my vacuum cleaner handle is cracked. I notified Orek and was told to take it to the shop for repairs. Katie, Store Manager. at the place where I went to Tennessee. it was very helpful! She immediately said my pen wasn't good and didn't understand why they sell such on Revain. I got a new pen which makes a big difference! Now I don't have to bend down to vacuum because the handle is much stronger and longer! Cathy also gave me other tips for using my vacuum cleaner. I was so impressed with their help and knowledge that I would definitely recommend going to the Oreck store to buy a vacuum rather than just buying a line. Hope this is helpful. I'd like to change the rating of this vacuum cleaner to a 5 after going to the store and a 1 or 2 on this site, but I'll leave it as is. It is in order. It seems to be good for my allergies and is one of the reasons I bought it; However, I really need something for larger areas. This vacuum is not easy to use for long periods of time, the handle isn't long enough (I'm only 5ft 1in), I have to bend down and hold the nozzle where the handle connects to keep it from falling apart. My arm and wrist hurt. The cable sucks when it has to be rewound and it always takes a few times because it never fails on my last lap, it falls off and I have to start over. I think I can go back and spend the extra on a bigger vacuum.
