I received this kit after deciding to hand sew my son's Halloween costume this year. It has everything you need to start sewing! The only thing I could change is to add a needle threader and also make it so that the scissors can be closed. Whenever I put them back in their case I was afraid I would accidentally cut something. Another thing to note - scissors were good for trimming thread, but not much else. This was fine with me because I had other fabric scissors, but if you don't, the scissors might disappoint you. Otherwise, I found everything else but high quality and durable!
