Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Durgod Taurus K320 TKL Gaming Keyboard - 87 Keys - Double Shot PBT Keycaps - NKRO - USB Type C (Cherry Black, Grey with White Backlight) by Michael Eldridge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good value for money, although I wish the left shift key felt a little better.

Pros - Good build quality (body is plastic but for $100 it still seems pretty solid) - Nice pre-made keycaps. - Satisfactory clicks for most buttons. - USB-C! And the ability to lay the cable straight or in any direction! This is serious, so important that I don't want to buy a non-USB-C keyboard in 2019. Cons: Left Shift just isn't very comfortable to press. Since this key is used in many games, it almost always catches my eye. A lot of mechanical keyboards seem to have this problem, and it's probably due to the stabilizers, although this keyboard's stabilizers are pre-lubricated and don't have much play or rattle, the left shift actuation doesn't feel as clicky and satisfying. when you lower the switch. I've returned keyboards in the past because of the very bad feel of LShift, although this keyboard's LShift isn't that bad. I can live with it. I just want to get better. - That is honest. The standard cables are very thick and a bit stiff, but that's not necessarily a disadvantage. This is a good keyboard and I'm glad I bought it. I wish there was an aluminum CNC version (which would basically make this keyboard look like a CTRL clone without the RGB) because that would be awesome. I also wish LShift felt a little better, but it's definitely usable. Update: It's worth noting that the LShift key has improved somewhat over time and little use. Still not as good as some other keyboards, but very comfortable, so that's a pretty minor complaint. This is one thing I think mechanical keyboard manufacturers in general could do better: gimbal feel is a difficult but very important thing.

Pros
  • Two different cables: USB Type-C to Type-C - 1 m (3.3 ft) and USB Type-C to Type A 1.8 m (5.9 ft); Logo sticker and key remover included.
Cons
  • Some small things
