Review on Clear Travel Cube Space Saver Bag - Space Bag 🧳 BRS-9601, 27 x 16.5 x 15 Inch - Carry On Efficiently by Aaron Richardson

I bought these space bags to carry more weight in my carry-on and less in my checked baggage to avoid overweight fines. I'm still torn about this product. It does its job of compacting, but it doesn't seem to compact the right shape and still doesn't leave much room for extras once compacted. On first use it turned into a nice cube, but when I came back its shape was wrong and didn't fit properly in my pocket. I used a vacuum seal flap to get maximum compression and the seal came loose (sticking to the vacuum hose) and the air flap was sucked into the canister. Luckily we have a bagless vacuum and removing the valve wasn't difficult, but I had to assemble it myself and hold the seal by hand so I could use the bag because the vent kept coming loose. I didn't really like the shape of the cube and I feel like the bag would have been better with a regular little space bag. Not to mention I had to buy these online because they were almost impossible to find in stores. If I run into this packaging dilemma again, I think I'll just skip this particular space bag.
