This case is truly amazing. It's not as soft as an apple roll, but at least it's good for me. The ability to remove the front valve is very convenient! Especially with the new iPad mini 6, because you can always easily detach it and hold the tablet with one or two hands and not have to deal with the flip cover that gets in the way or bothers when you fold it. It's convenient and the best feature of all. The next best thing is the ability to always have the entire iPad "including the edges" closed at all times. This is something Apple's Smart Folio doesn't cover and the downside is that it's so expensive and doesn't cover your entire very expensive device. The only downside to this case/folio is that your iPad doesn't go to sleep when you close the lid. It stays and I forget about it most of the time. I have to get used to hitting the sleep/wake button to put him to sleep. But for the ability to remove it from the flap, I'll happily adapt to the button. For the price and versatility of this case I give it two thumbs up!
