Delivered more than I expected.

I honestly didn't expect much from this knife, but it's surprisingly good. I used it mostly for menial tasks like chopping herbs and veggies to save wear and tear on my $100+ Shun knives, and it sliced through potatoes and a few chicken breasts pretty much like the Shuns did. Don't expect to use it as a cleaver, and know that it's not designed to hit large chunks of meat like you would swing a baseball bat, but to swing back and forth without letting go of your hand. This is exactly what the Chinese Cleaver is supposed to be. The handle is comfortable. I tend to pluck the blade when cutting, but the shape of the handle makes it more comfortable to hold as a handle. It's actually not that bad as the blade won't hurt you unless you're extremely careless. If I had to say one bad thing about it, the food tends to stick to it. It would be nice if he had an advantage over Granton. But that's a pretty small complaint considering how incredibly well it slices. Not only would I buy another one, I will buy another one. Regardless of the price, this is an exceptional knife. Considering the price, this is an impressive knife.
