No rice strainer

The inner bowl has huge holes for the rice to fit through. The outer bowl has no holes at the bottom - only in the spout area. The holes in the spout area are small so I think if you think about it literally the holes can strain the rice but it seems to me that rinsing the rice this way would take forever. When you come back, buy one of the Asian rice bowls with holes in the bottom.
