My wife did me a favor and washed my old comb with an alcohol solution which ruined the plastic bristles. It's been a while since I've bought a comb and all I've found has been either boar bristles or weird plastic bristles for styling women's hair. I avoid animal products so I was happy to find this fibrous bristle brush. That works fine. Hard bristles feel good on the scalp. It will be interesting to see how long they last over time. I can buy a second one to replace it. 07/05/2021 After 8 months I still like this brush. Nice firm bristles that feel good on my head. I'm buying a second one just in case but not sure I'll need it for a while but would like to get it while they're still being made.
