Review on 🔧 Upgraded Mikuni Round Slide VM Series Carburetor - 38mm VM38-9 by Butros Allen

Arrived quickly but had major flaws in the slide. I don't know if it's the distributor's fault, factory quality control or something else, but someone was fooling around. And I'm still stuck without a carburetor. ****Update*** Got another carb, I suspect they just repackaged this one, very similar markings but the first one had some friction scratches that aren't there. Here. Remember that this hole is exactly where your airflow will always be, unless you're a hydraulics expert I wouldn't bet the device will work as intended. **another update** i bought my third mikuni vm 38 carburetor, third from a supplier outside of amazon. same problem with spots/pits. it must be a factory problem. My dissatisfaction with the seller was misplaced. However, if you buy this carburetor anywhere, look for this error and leave another review. update.installed one of the "faulty" carburetors. it works but i will keep an eye on it as i expect one to run hotter than the other. in general. I am very satisfied with the product and how each dealer treated it. I will avoid Mikuni products here and now but for now I'll just let it be as it is.
