So cheap I was willing to take the risk to do exactly what I wanted. Well it isn't. Not at all and completely useless. I was trying to hook up my Presonus mixer to my computer and figured this little contraption would help. Well I was wrong. Couldn't even find a mixer through this connection. Tried in 2.0 and 3.0 USB connections but to no avail. In the end I had to install a PCI-e FireWire card in the computer - luckily that worked! No, I cannot recommend this device for any reason. you have been warned
