Quickly connect doorbell and notification. Good video/audio quality and motion detection.

Update December 7th: Wireless was great - failed to connect to phone in over 100 real time calls/views. I've thought about buying a range extender or mesh wifi just for my Ring 2 which wouldn't connect almost half the time, but now with this Eufy that's no longer necessary. Conclusion: Top price-performance ratio. Fast and reliable doorbell connection and notification. Good motion detection sensitivity and video quality. Easy to set up. I had to lower the detection sensitivity to fix false motion alerts at night (it was fine during the day). Update October 28th: Eufy has updated the app with a new motion detection setting ("Enable human only at night”) which, when enabled, seems to fix the false alarm problem at night. Advantages: 1. The doorbell connects to the phone quickly and securely.2. Good video and audio quality on calls and live view. The WDR automatically brightens people's faces when they enter the porch.3. Customizable motion detection zone works well to exclude cars moving in front of the doorbell.4. The Chime also acts as a kind of Wi-Fi extender (it connects to a Wi-Fi router and then the doorbell connects to it), potentially giving the doorbell a better and more reliable wireless connection. It is recommended to place the Chime halfway between the doorbell and the WiFi router.5. The Chime also acts as a base station (for video storage with an SD card inserted), but plugs directly into a wall outlet, which greatly increases placement flexibility as it doesn't require a table or shelf for support. 6. Each video clip is between 2MB and 4MB, so a 32GB SD card should last for several months. There are no monthly payments. Cons: 1. The battery is not removable. It takes 6 hours to fully charge from 0%.2. Automatic brightness control (WDR) takes a few seconds after the video starts. Overall: Eufy solved 3 issues I had with my Ring 2 doorbell: 1) I couldn't connect to my phone 20-50% of the time. , 2) the video is laggy and glitchy for the first few seconds after connecting (although it says the Wi-Fi signal is fine), and 3) frequent false alarms from cars driving down the street and standing in front of the doorbell , also play around with detection range and sensitivity for a week afterwards. A Nice Surprise: During setup, Chime will tell you in a nice voice 1) when it's ready for setup, 2) when it's ready for Wi-Fi connection, and 3) when setup is complete, so you no need to check what the colors/LEDs on the chime are flashing.
