At the time of purchase, I was the owner of sennheiser hd 280 and german maestro 435s. I consider these 3 headphone models to be the best in their price category. I fell in love with the m50x from the first listening in the store. I used such a sound for this price. I used it with Samsung phones, and on a computer with an Asus honar phoebus audio card. I was delighted. But with the Cowon x9 player, this headphone model loses to the models described above.
