I have three cats living in my house and I bought it to hang on the door next to the sofa. I was hoping that with vertical scratches nearby they would stop scratching my sofa. With the glue reviews, I was concerned that it wouldn't stand up to their relentless and vigorous scraping. I am happy to say that it is! All three cats seem to like you very much and they are getting on well! It's been hanging for over a week now and it usually happens between all three several times a day. Happy to report he's still holding on. I don't think this is a sofa replacement but I'm very happy to have an unobtrusive scratching post that doesn't take up the floor or other usable area.
