Plug in light worked best.

This is 3rd light purchased for a desk. First two were duds and one returned to Ebay. Other one was cheap and not worth returning. This one is a good 'old ' fashion plug in type with much better lighting than the other two.

huge fan of subtle, hidden lighting. used these in my kitchen to under light cabinetry. easy to install.
