I have 3 separate soundbars in my living room. All of them are synchronized with the TV signal. Vizio will not sync. No matter what input I tried or what remote setup I tried, it was impossible to fix the problem. I've tried disabling surround sound, disabling height, switching from HDMI to optical, reducing AV latency, and all I did was turn down the volume. Nothing worked. So at least Vizio has a delay or echo effect with dialogues that will drive you crazy. Well, if you're an audiophile enough to diagnose the problem and fix the lag, this thing will knock your socks off. Fight scenes with no dialogue sound amazing, I like them even better with the delay. The sub excels. The center speaker has excellent clarity. The surround speakers are a bit cheap and can't handle much power - not to mention each leaves 25 feet of cords on the floor. Funny how it's never advertised. But the main problem is the reverberation in dialogue. That renders the Vizio useless I'm afraid and it's coming back. I will try the cheaper TCL 9 with virtual atmos and hope there is no lag. I know TCL 6 doesn't have any latency issues (except Bluetooth) because I have it.
