Now I have almost no decoding errors and at least 4 times more traffic than before. The signal level is locked to level 4/5 when the signal is stable. With a standard omnidirectional antenna, about 3/4 of the time the signal was reflected and turned into distorted noise. A multi-site system in my area is almost impossible to use with a standard radio unless you can narrow down reception to a single tower. For this purpose this little antenna is ideal and not expensive at all! This is a five tower simulcast location. 770MHz to 800-8530MHz. Tested on: BCD996P2, borrowed BCD396XT and borrowed Pro-106. None of them could be used with the standard omni due to multicast distortions, but they all worked fine when this little yagi was pointed at one of the turrets. It appears to be well built and I'm not sure you could even build it yourself for the money unless you have the materials in your workshop and your time isn't being taken up. This is a gem!
