Works incredibly well. I like the way a connection is simulated so that client machines don't have to do a connect-disconnect dance on the keyboard and (especially) the monitor. Your windows stay where you put them. It's worth buying for that alone. Two tech support tips: If you are using a keyboard macro utility (like USB Overdrive or Karabiner) you will need to reassign the device ID as it "looks" like a different keyboard ID but after that it works . Second, my very old Mid 2010 Mac Mini won't boot when the USB port of that device is plugged in - the fix is to unplug the USB, boot it up, have it complain about "no keyboard" and then the USB -connect connector (at this point he sees the keyboard and the error disappears). No problem as I only ever let it sleep except when updating the software.
