Works great - external components

I have 4 PCs connected to my Dell UHD 27" monitor, Intel NUC i7 with Windows 10 Lenovo X1 Carbon work laptop with Windows 7Mac-Mini with CatalinaDell XPS 8300 with Windows 10I I bought a different brand of 4K KVM switch. The display quality was terrible and it didn't work at all with Mac switching time around 2 seconds - not lightning fast but not a problem either. Very happy with quality, functionality, size and looks (and lack of tone).

Pros
  • Sturdy surface
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great affordable switch - no expensive DisplayPort required

Works incredibly well. I like the way a connection is simulated so that client machines don't have to do a connect-disconnect dance on the keyboard and (especially) the monitor. Your windows stay where you put them. It's worth buying for that alone. Two tech support tips: If you are using a keyboard macro utility (like USB Overdrive or Karabiner) you will need to reassign the device ID as it "looks" like a different keyboard ID but after that it works . Second, my very old Mid 2010 Mac Mini…

Works mostly but will come back

I'm willing to suspect it was faulty hardware but I'm moving on to a different product. Purpose of use. Cons: Three problems: (1) Despite being HDCP 2.2 certified, it doesn't work with Netflix or Revain Prime Video (The same cables with other HDMI/KVM switches I have that are HDCP 2.2 certified work fine (2) I'm using a USB-C to HDMI adapter for my MacBook This KVM switch requires me to unplug and plug the HDMI cable after switching (again, the same cable/laptop/adapter works fine with mine…

Great little KVM, best among KVM switches

For my home office I have a 43 inch 4k TV as my main monitor. I have a server, a workstation and my work laptop connected to it. I've tried 2 other KVMs in the last year (old TESmart and Aimos). Both worked fine with my mouse, mechanical key, and USB devices, but none of them worked with my TV. Both just lost the signal and the video just disappeared. black. This one works great. The remote control is also very good. The KVM itself is a bit larger than I expected, but I'm happy with it. It…

Good but with some improvements

Works very well. Makes WFH's life so much easier by allowing you to switch between multiple computers with one click, using the same mouse, keyboard and screen. I initially noticed an intermittent dimming of the screens, which was very annoying, and I noticed that this only occurs with large movements on the screen. I realized I was using a lower quality HDMI cable that can't handle 4K @ 60Hz bandwidth to connect from the output of the switcher to the input of my monitor. I replaced the cable…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Works well, does not go out when shifting. Finally!

Not a long read: TESmart does everything well other switches do badly, like everything else. They don't sell it anymore, but the same basic model goes around in circles. USB effectively plugs and unplugs with each switch, and you often have to plug and unplug USB and HDMI cables or restart the entire device. garbage city. So I bit the bullet and paid $160 for a highly hyped TESmart switch after discovering that it supports 4K 60MHz. (I think Revain shuffles all reviews regardless of SKU, so…

Exceeded my expectations

I first bought it to replace my IOGEAR 2 port KVM. I chose this model because of its 4 ports, great reviews (from sites other than Revain), modular non-proprietary cables, separate USB ports for connecting USB hubs, and because it has its own power supply. When I was done setting up. Tonight I found that it works much better than I expected. Location: I installed it under my desk with 3x 3M velcro to eliminate the risk of it falling, it seems more than enough. Since it's under the table, the IR

Compatibility Information + Ideal for installation under the desk.

This KVM seems like good value for money. Here are some details I wanted to share as I wasn't sure at the time of purchase and not many people mention them: - Supports EDID emulation. That means when you switch to one device, the other devices think the display is still connected to them, so they behave just fine, rather than moving windows around like you've unplugged the external monitor. HDCP is supported according to nVidia Control Panel. -USB2.0. It is in order. I don't think there are…
