Pros: Overall a good system. Easy to set up. Good picture. Cons: Cheap cable. Customer support is patchy. This is my first camera system. I bought it because of the generally good reviews. Setup was easy. I wanted the inside to look good, so instead of just running their cables with RJ-45 plugs sticking out of a hole in my wall, I opted for a wall plate with network jacks. I cut off the end and tried to connect the cable. After a few tries I found that the wires are too much. I had to restart it with Cat-5e. After I did that, everything worked great. A few weeks later, one of the dome cameras had a line going through the middle. I've tried doing a reset etc and it improved things a bit but it never went away. I fixed some issues by removing the camera from its mount and plugging it directly into the dashcam. The camera just failed. I contacted support and they asked me a few questions and sent some photos. I am committed and soon after I received the RMA number. When I received the replacement unit and plugged it in there was no video. The camera got warm and when it was dark the IR light would turn on. I've tried rebooting, resetting, using different ports, different cables, etc. I replied to the original support email thread for the RMA and have not received a response. I tried to answer again and still no answer. I thought maybe the ticket was closed and I would have to create a new email, which I did. I created and submitted a new RMA request. I was immediately approached with a few questions. I answered. The next day I received the same message but the subject line was "Request Pending" and the body of the message was "This is an email to remind you that your request (#59465) is pending and we are all still waiting for it for your feedback. If you still need help, please reply to this email. If your issue is resolved, ignore it and the case will be closed. Have a nice day!" I replied again. The next day I received no response. I replied and attached the last message I had sent. Today I still have no response. I'm trying to initiate another RMA, now I hope that maybe it gets resolved I don't know if their email system is weird or something but it was a disappointing experience Best Customer Service Response = More Stars ***** Updated 04/06/2018 * ****I have meanwhile received an answer and it was about resetting the channel settings on the NVR.The camera is working fine.I am planning to install it and then buy the latest 8th camera for this system.I have a feeling "I'll eventually outgrow this and want to move to a 16 channel system. It's nice to have an idea of your scope. Note: If you need to contact technical support, please create separate email contacts te for each incident. This helps with incident routing. Overall, I am satisfied with the company and this product and can recommend it.
