I hope this product was not a real kryptonite lock. After a little over a year of use, the lock was very difficult to pick, requiring you to keep wiggling the key back and forth and patiently waiting for it to somehow engage and unlock. After waiting too long it's permanently locked and won't unlock - I can even see that the internal mechanism is warped so it doesn't match the button guide and now I have to find a way to remove it from mine Bicycle. I highly recommend buying either 1) another whole lock or 2) a guaranteed Kryptonite product from the store.
