Review on 🚚 CURT 45080 Class 3 Trailer Hitch Ball Mount, 2-Inch Receiver, 7,500 lbs, 1-Inch Hole, 6-Inch Drop by Mark Greenwood

CURT 45080 Class III 2 inch ball This ball is welded crooked and twisted. Very poor or no quality control. The decal that was placed on the bar "Made in USA" covers the non-Made in USA stamped portion with the CURT logo (see images). The tube is only 3/16 inch thick, which feels light for something that can handle all that torque and weight. Bracket for 7500 lbs. Tow away. (especially if it's welded crooked to not even get the tension in the right alignment). Not sure if this isn't one of their Chinese made devices with a US tag attached or maybe a fake ball mount. I bought it to tow my 4 horse trailer. I won't use it because I don't trust him. I have to send it back. I also bought the 45280 mount, seems better. I removed the sticker and put it back under the mark so you can see the mark without the stamp of origin. I will use them for light work in the field, not on the highway.
