I have a Samsung T5 in my SSD case - the cables don't fit, I'm using the standard cables

I read a guy's review that he was able to slide/bend the two cables that come with the block into the housing, guy's last name might be Copperfield. Has anyone seen one of the falls that is slightly larger? I'm worried that going to a larger package will negate the protection a drive offers in a small package? I think a few more cables in the bag, almost need a separate cable bag!
