The lower cost of ordering this part does not reflect the additional time I spent repairing the unit. Everything went smoothly installing the block, as it was the third window I had to replace this block it didn't take as long as the others but I still lost a few hours of my time. The problem with this product is that it happened while driving and it happened after the third use of windows after installation. Since I'm trying to sell the car, it's been easier for me to "JB-weld" the wires into the stripped section than worrying about the warranty, worrying about getting another defective part from the manufacturer get and possibly pass it on to whoever bought this car from me. . TIP: Go to your local FORD dealership, order a genuine Ford part and install it yourself. ($170 at fordparts.com)
