. It's a great price for a handheld USB 3.0 portable tester, but a bit pricey ($29) for use as a constant charge controller, in my opinion. Li-Ion batteries last longer if you don't fully charge them, so I use the UC (Low Current) auto shutoff to stop charging my tablet when the charge current drops below 1.2A - at which point it is my tablet charged to 80%. Without this device, it would charge at 100% and draw around 0.4A indefinitely. My only functional complaint about the DROK is that once it's turned off, the device won't turn back on unless I press a button on the device or momentarily remove power from the charger to allow it to restart. Therefore, it will not automatically maintain a charge. Not a big deal, because at this price I still don't want to leave it permanently installed as a charge controller, as I have my doubts about its durability under continuous use conditions.
