I'm tall. I ride a high motorcycle. This big stand is a lifesaver for me. After riding through mud and hills and then having to stop and use the kickstand on a soft, muddy surface, it would mean the stock kickstand could sink into the ground and drop my bike. I'm pretty sure I can use this oversized footboard in the sand and be fine. Don't bother, more staff. I ride a KTM 890 Adventure R. One problem: the orange aluminum tarpaulin isn't quite ktm orange and seems to have faded a bit after a few weeks in the sun. However, the functionality looks every day. Also, I'll save you some money, honey.
