Solid Creepiness (with an Obliterated Case!)
Loved the original series. This is a return to that plodding creepiness. I've jumped at seeing my own shadow. A little too much "run and hide and can't fight" but I'm at the beginning and hope that doesn't continue too long.Downside is that the case came crushed like nothing I've ever seen. I don't know how it was allowed to be shipped. It was in shrink wrapped but seemed like someone stomped on the game. I enjoy having games on a shelf as a display but this one has to be tossed it's that pulverized. I was amazed the disc worked with the amount of scratches on it!

Scariest game I have ever played. I have been playing Resident Evil since the very first one came out, this beats them all. Puzzles are as hard which is disappointing, but they outdid themselves with the horror movie style gameplay. Play this game with the lights out in a dark room and the audio up.I do wish the game was harder on Normal, or that you could play it on hard without having to beat it first. Nothing is perfect though.If you play this game for the first time with VR, you may want to take some heart meds first. I would have fallen over.
