I have ordered over 60 of these in the last 4 years. It used to be the best product yet, but lenses dated 2017 or later have changed. heartbreaking. The reformulation turns what was once a strong hard wax into a weak cream. Retention, clarity and volume have been drastically reduced. Such a shame. If you have an old can and a new can you can do a "fingerprint test". With the same force, press your thumb into a fresh glass. You'll notice a noticeable difference in texture, hardness, and even a slight difference in color. This product used to be the best. Now it joins a number of other hair waxes. EDIT 2019: After getting about 10 jars in 2018 that had a bit of a creamy consistency, the 2019 jars were a bit firmer. Certainly not like it was before 2017, but significantly better than the 2018 cream. It looks like they may have made additional changes to the formula to restore the product somewhat. The "fingerprint test" gives better results showing a harder wax.
