It's definitely heavier than I initially wanted. In case anyone knows Kohls' reversible bedding alternative, The Big One, which goes on sale every Black Friday and is one of their biggest hits. That's the weight I was looking for. This is the perfect all-season weight for Arizona fall and winter. When this blanket arrived which was quite heavy and appears to be thicker I was a bit disappointed. I've accounted for the extra size since I bought the 120x98, but still. In any case. I went ahead and tucked it into the comforter I bought last night and twirled it around. That's great! It really wasn't that hot. It has some weight but I usually sleep with a weighted blanket so it doesn't bother me much. But it feels like being wrapped in a cloud! I love it! I hope the more it cools down and gets that 50's vibe in the bedroom, the tastier it gets. I'm still in my mid-60s and sometimes have to stick my foot out. As for size. My husband and I usually buy separate blankets because sharing them sucks. If one wants a little more blanket, the other suffers. So much more that I could hit from all sides and my husband would still be able to cover up enough! The end corners barely touch the ground during manufacture. It definitely has that bedroom shop look that everyone is always trying to exude but can't seem to achieve because the bedspread is too short!
