I needed a second MicroSD storage solution for two Axiom chartplotters/MFPs on my boat. The Navionics chart software is only supplied on a 16GB card, leaving very little space for other data storage. Applications like Spotify and recording sonar tracks require a lot of storage space for functionality and convenience. It worked right out of the box, just plug it into the micro USB port on the back of the Axiom. No setup required. I inserted a 32giga card and it was recognized immediately. I don't know if there is a size limit. The July 2020 Raymarine Lighthouse OS update FINALLY supports FAT32 chart formats (which are compatible with both iOS and PC). Life in RayWorld gets easier with patience. (Note: A few more programmers from FLIR in Portland could bring the Raymarine brand to the fore.
