Works well, good for sewing

I've seen these types of pens before but never had the money to buy them as I had a workaround that took me some time. So I was happy to receive and try them out. I'm making a quilt for Project Linus and I used 9-10+ inch squares. I wanted to turn them into half square triangles (HST). I joined the right sides together and flipped them back with the lightest color. He took one of my handy rulers and drew a diagonal line with a red pen. He drew easily, not lifting his hand to the fabric like a pencil usually does, the red line was easy to draw and still showed later, unlike some fabric markers which air fade, especially on a wet day I used a piece of cloth and drew on it with a pen and then washed it off and it didn't come back. I have one more stitch to sew all the blocks together and then I cut along the red line to separate the two sides and when they are ironed and cut to an even square I can sew them together for the top of the quilt. It was MUCH easier than what I had done before. The tailor's chalk chipped off the sides during shipping, but I rarely use it, so the hat isn't a problem for me. I really appreciate the opportunity to try these pins as they speed up sewing a diagonal line. I am always looking for ways to speed things up as I am handicapped with limited energy so things that can speed up the quilting process allow me more time for the more enjoyable aspects of quilting such as not looking as speckled. Thank you for the opportunity to try these pens. I appreciate it. Edited to add: I finished sewing the opposite HST seam and since some of the fabric seemed wrinkled I decided to iron the sets before cutting them. The heat from the iron made the red line I planned to make my cut line disappear. I noticed that on some fabrics when ironing I saw a faint white stripe where there was a red stripe. We'll have to see if it goes away over time. Despite this, I am very satisfied with these markers.
