I need an energy monitor that shows voltage and current (amps). Almost every other device just looks at electricity. This seems to do a great job of figuring out what the various loads are semi-decently. You really need to spend a little time looking at the configuration screen to let it know what you have. The screen tells you something will turn on at xx o'clock and thinks it's A___ or B___ and asks you to confirm. He guesses pretty well, but not always. I would like an option where I could manually turn on the device and tell the app what device I'm on. We have a new house, super insulated, every light is LED and every appliance is energy efficient. I was surprised to see that the "always on" elements were still 350W. I'm guessing it would be less than 200 watts. My main goal was to find out what our loads are before I buy a whole house generator. I was happy to see that the most extreme peaks were lower than I expected.
