So good news first, this was the only one of several 802.3BT injectors that successfully negotiated the BT power level with my WIFI hotspot. Unfortunately, the LAN connection via the POE injector wasn't that good. I initially struggled with the network only negotiating 100MB on the switch instead of the 5G connection it was supposed to see. Disconnecting and reconnecting the LAN cable from the switch eventually seemed to fix the issue, and the switch reported full 5G connectivity. Unfortunately, I had terrible Wi-Fi performance, inexplicable buffering when streaming media. After much frustrating searching and troubleshooting, I found that the switch was reporting network errors on the port. Tried changing cables. All were good. The bugs went away after I got the POE injector out of the way. So basically this POE injector didn't pass the network directly, but introduced errors. I am extremely disappointed!
