Well built, inexpensive.

I bought this PoE adapter to power a Zyxel access point that requires over 30W of power. well built. Much cheaper than a switch.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Can't remember

Instant Powerline Network Adapter Fix

I bought this to power a Unifi LED strip. Worked 10 seconds and the injector stopped working. Nothing is required now. I bought another 90w injector for $27 not believing it would actually work and it powered the light with no issues.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

POE++ reaches 90W. Will power any POE device

Good size. Using this POE++ power supply with Verizon LTE Extenders in underground buildings. Just connect the ethernet and the device and you're done.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Not for everyone

Failed to connect via LAN

So good news first, this was the only one of several 802.3BT injectors that successfully negotiated the BT power level with my WIFI hotspot. Unfortunately, the LAN connection via the POE injector wasn't that good. I initially struggled with the network only negotiating 100MB on the switch instead of the 5G connection it was supposed to see. Disconnecting and reconnecting the LAN cable from the switch eventually seemed to fix the issue, and the switch reported full 5G connectivity…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Can I add something

Power failure issues

I needed an injector to add PoE to the ethernet line that powers my ceiling mounted Wi-Fi hotspot in the middle of my house. At first it worked fine and the access point showed that it was getting enough power. After a few weeks, I noticed that problems arise when the injector's power supply is cycled off and on again quickly. For example, if the power in the house went out for 10 seconds and came back on, or if I turned the switch off briefly and then turned it back on, this injector stopped…
