Power failure issues

I needed an injector to add PoE to the ethernet line that powers my ceiling mounted Wi-Fi hotspot in the middle of my house. At first it worked fine and the access point showed that it was getting enough power. After a few weeks, I noticed that problems arise when the injector's power supply is cycled off and on again quickly. For example, if the power in the house went out for 10 seconds and came back on, or if I turned the switch off briefly and then turned it back on, this injector stopped providing power at all. For me, this injector needs to be unplugged or turned off at least a few minutes before powering up to ensure it is working properly. This made it another device to service and a safety and liability risk if the power went off while I was away, as many of my smart home devices rely on an injector-powered Wi-Fi hotspot. I was thinking about adding an uninterruptible power supply. a backup power supply, and while I can still do that, I felt that this unit should at least work properly without a UPS. In the end I decided to replace this nozzle with a more reliable one that works after short cycles.
