These are the PERFECT shoes for working around the garden/yard. They are strong, light, waterproof and closed. I've had dirt on previous pairs of "crappy tennis shoes" - the ones we all have and don't want to throw away - and I've gotten over it. Removing them from the hose is literally that easy. They're comfy, roomy, soft, light... there's nothing to hate about Crocs except their ridiculous style. a lot this summer and I plan to buy a new pair if need be.
