Perfect for 2004 Mini Cooper S

Perfect for my 2004 R53. If you're having trouble engaging a gear, that could be your problem. If you find a cylinder on your car and notice that it is leaking, this is most likely your problem. The trick to bleeding is to squeeze the clutch cylinder before installation to remove all air from the cylinder. I used a piece of wood with a hole drilled in it and 2 long bolts going through the wood and into the cylinder. ModMINI has a great video that walks you through the whole process. Difficulty Level: Beginner to Intermediate Tools Required: 10mm socket or wrench for removing the cylinder and 11mm wrench for the bleed screw. Consumables needed: ATE 200 brake fluid (my choice for minivans). My car is in gear. I would recommend checking the oil at every change to make sure it isn't leaking. Also, be sure to check your brake fluid level regularly as that can also be an early catch.
