The most interesting thing. I installed the first in a two-bulb fixture, leaving the original 921 bulb in place. This LED appeared to be identical in brightness and color to an incandescent bulb, but without the heater. That's good, because in some places in the motorhome I didn't want anything lighter. I gave 4 stars for brightness because there are other styles of bulbs that are much brighter (perhaps too bright) but then again it's unfair to downgrade them because they appear to be identical to the bulbs they are intended to replace. Added some technical information: As this lamp is used dry, I measured the current draw of this and a standard 921 incandescent lamp. The incandescent lamp draws 1.24 amps, while this somewhat comparable LED draws 0.11 amps. This is a reduction of about 92%, meaning the battery lasts almost 10 times longer. Instead of having to "settle" with one light at night, I can now use multiple lights and the batteries last longer.
