I bought a 300 watt N-Series for a 55 gallon reef aquarium where I previously didn't have to worry about heating from inefficient lighting. For the price, I really like the display with temperature display and the variable power output when heating. The display shows the current heating output, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the power readings were typically within 25 watts of my smart outlet. Temperature readings are within 0.5 degrees of other factory thermometers and can be calibrated if necessary. It has been running for a while and is keeping the temperature within 1 degree of setpoint and has never been more than 0.2 degrees above it. I didn't give a 5 star rating because I doubt the durability of the heating coil. They claim it's made of carbon fiber, but that seems to be the standard material for heating elements found in a toaster. The heating element glows even while heating. This is clearly a Chinese product as there are many grammatical errors in the manual, but it doesn't look like a cheap copy of a competitor's product. In a month I will give additional updates.
