Review on 🧹 Rubbermaid White Kut-A-Way Wedge Mop Cut-End-Dust Mop Head FGU13000WH00 by Robert Yates

Finally a decent dust mop

When my old dust mop fell apart recently, I was amazed to discover that you can't find the classic wooden-handled cotton mop in any store, not even Walmart. So I bought a cheap plastic thing and I hate it - difficult to store, inconvenient to use. It's in the trash. I finally went online (wish I was the first) and bought this Rubbermaid. It's durable so I hope it lasts a long time. The cotton rag is mounted on a narrow frame so I can dust in tight spots, which I really like. When I took it out of the box, a few cotton threads fell off the dust head, so I hope this doesn't happen again. For those of you having trouble inserting the wire frame into a piece of cotton, you can see in the photo that the wire frame is shaped like a W. Insert the bottom of the W (curved into a V). First form a piece of cotton. If you insert the open part of the W (the part bent like a hook) on the other side, you can squeeze them together that way. I'm a techie like a tomato, but I figured it out in two seconds: the open end of the W is much easier to squeeze into a cotton bag than the closed end. Hope this helps someone. And by the way, you have to wash it by hand. I have no plans to do this. I put it in a laundry bag and sent it to the wash with detergent, bleach and baking soda. Nothing makes it whiter or makes it smell better. Dry it in the sun.
