I live in Hawaii and do a lot of ocean cruising. I trust mares. Quality is everything. This pair replaces my 4 year old pair. (I'm in the water 2-4 times a week.) For someone who's in the water less than 2 times a month, this should be enough until the cows return home. Lightning Titanic! Soles cling to wet, algae-covered rocks like there's no tomorrow. Light and flexible. My only initial concern was the fit, and I was right. I went up a size because my old Mares boots needed a larger size. Not these! Now I have a set of booties that is too big. I wear socks to avoid nasty blisters. Excellent quality.
