I don't know what the difference in design or material is between these and the original spares but they definitely don't work the same. After installing these cheaper replacement casters, I started my S9 Roomba. The immediate difference I noticed was the sound of the robot, it sounded awful like there were rocks stuck in the car. I checked to make sure it wasn't sucking on a cat toy or something stupid and started it again with the same problem. After running my bot for a few days to see if it would wear out or stop making that horrible noise, I switched to some OEM replacement rollers, which fixed the issue.
