I use a steam mop and mop head to clean hardwood floors in my home kitchen and stable. For this purpose it works very well. There's just one question I haven't quite answered yet: How do you quickly and easily clean a dirty mop head! First I have to soak the pad in a bucket of hot water mixed with Oxy overnight. The next day I spray the pad with a 'spray and wash' type product and then put it in the washing machine where I add detergent and more Oxy. After all this I would say the rubber looks 90-95% cleaner; but not very clean.
