Review on Fredrix Value Series Cut Edge Canvas Panel: 8x10 Black (Pack of 25) - Affordable and High-Quality by Denise Davis

This set arrived on time and in good condition as promised. I usually prefer stretched canvas over panels, but for a massive end-of-game Christmas present, these fit the bill. at a great price. 25 blackboards for less than a dollar each. You just can't beat it! Good quality. Decent coverage requires more paint than usual, but that has more to do with its black color than the quality of the product. Being solid panels, they don't absorb paint like stretched canvas, but the benefit of this is that shading is easier, particularly given their rigidity. Another plus is that they can easily be framed in an inexpensive photo frame - amazing! I used 1 as a test panel with different colors and other media to evaluate performance before starting my projects. I am happy with the results. Although I already have 7 panels, I just completed one and included it in my review. I made a white silhouette on black and it worked fine. Overall, I highly recommend them! Just think about what kind of projects you want to use them for. I hope my review was helpful to you :) Edited to include more photos. On these canvases I have used both oil and acrylic paints as well as gel mediums etc. So far I haven't found any cons with this purchase. I will definitely buy more!
