Review on ๐Ÿถ Ultimate Heavy Duty Dog Tie Out Cable: Extra Durable with Shock Absorbing Spring, Rotatable Hook for Yard and Camping, Anti-Rust Chains for Outdoor Use - 30ft, Up to 250lbs by Katie Chambers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The spring broke almost immediately and my dog โ€‹โ€‹was able to walk free.

My 55 lb pit bull broke this bond within 24 hours when she was chasing our other dog for the first time. The spring that was supposed to keep her from choking just broke and my dog ran off, dragging the whole leash with him. The cable may be strong, but the spring appears to be junk, the weakest link. As advertised I would not recommend this tie if you are into spring. Otherwise it would be wise to remove the spring before attaching the dog to it. I leave the tie and reattach the hook directly to the cable and discard the spring altogether. I like the thickness of the cable and hope it will last as long as it looks. My dogs don't chew cords.
