Bicycle pedals MZYRKH R my new BF

They look good when you open the box. The "tar" felt solid and real, not a pile. The thread and the processing of the spindle is very good. I destigmatize, deburr, clean, oil and polish or paint almost every piece I buy. The left foot had a wobble of 0.2 mm (play). So I tuned both - everything looked just as finished on the inside as it did on the outside! Even lube is good for a few miles. Very cool. The pair comes with 40 installed and 2 spare bolts or studs and four stainless steel spindle washers. I had so much fun looking for good pedal discs that when I found them I groomed them for my offspring. They look good as soon as you open the box. The "tar" felt solid and real, not a pile. Bolts are small hex screws and nuts that tend to loosen. They rust too. I didn't want to spend $50 for SS with Nylok so I took it all out, applied MetalPrep to it - acid dried then zinc doused - Galvina Can. Harvested almost dry, no Loctite needed. While removing the pedals, I repacked the bearings with that fancy French Teflon grease. Two more days? Stylish, light, durable, no, blast-proof underfoot perfection for about $25 for pedals and an hour to pull up on an already good product. Thank you MZIRH.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • poorly thought out
