Bolts are small hex screws and nuts that tend to loosen. They rust too. I didn't want to spend $50 for SS with Nylok so I took it all out, applied MetalPrep to it - acid dried then zinc doused - Galvina Can. Harvested almost dry, no Loctite needed. While removing the pedals, I repacked the bearings with that fancy French Teflon grease. Two more days? Stylish, light, durable, no, blast-proof underfoot perfection for about $25 for pedals and an hour to pull up on an already good product. Thank you MZIRH.
