Review on πŸ‘• Hanes Beefy T-Shirt with Pocket, XXL Men's Clothing - Shirts Category by Tommy Hilmy

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I wish they were cut like they used to be

I still have two Haynes Beefy-Ts from around 2005 that fit me perfectly. Long enough to slip on, but not too long to wear unbuttoned. On these old shirts, the sleeve seam is just below the shoulder, the sleeves are 3/4 long to the elbow. Across the chest and waist. New ShirtBad: This new shirt has a pattern that Haynes has been using for the past few years and it seems made for lean guys with very broad shoulders and huge biceps! The shoulder seams are pushed far down and the slits on the sleeves are huge. It would probably be good for Popeye. Maybe I just need a can of spinach! Pros: Thick 100% cotton, just like the good old days! The length is very long and I am over 6ft tall. This shirt doesn't rip out of my jeans which is a nice change from most other shirts. But probably to wear out for a long time. Perhaps this review is premature, because. Cotton shrinks a bit the first time you wash it. As a result, the shoulder seams can shift slightly and the armholes can be slightly smaller. I will be making a sequel soon. By the way, the size is XXL, but I can try XL if it doesn't shrink a little. However, I am concerned that the size XL fits better in the shoulders but is too tight in the waist and chest. I'm 6ft 2in, 225lbs. This is a t-shirt with pockets, so it may fit differently than shirts without pockets. Edit: The shirt fits a little better after washing, but there is a lot of excess material on the body. The shirt matches the shoulder seam. If you look at the picture on the description page, you can see that the extra fabric for the photo has been tucked under the armpits. Dear Hanes: Solve the problem, don't close it!

Pros
  • Flat collar so they hold their shape after washing
Cons
  • Not sure
