I have this to switch between playstation 1 and playstation 2 (composite and component). At first the component worked as advertised, but the composite input only displayed black and white images. Trying to remove the blue wire didn't help and I wanted to send it back. However, my TV uses the same inputs for both component and composite, but has two different inputs in the TV's input list. Switching the input to AV completely solved the problem and I couldn't be happier. Also built as a tank. I'm only deducting a star because depending on how hard your cables squeeze the plugs, they may pull them out with the cable, but they can be plugged back in quite easily.
