Review on 🌟 AMI 96022P Polished Silver Front Bowtie Grille Emblem for Chevy 08-12 Malibu - Including Border by John Mejia

The overall quality of the product deserves 5 stars as the workpiece feels very solid and of good quality; it was heavy and shiny, as befits a high quality emblem. However, this item was marked as an 'exact fit' for my car, but it doesn't really fit at all. So I'm not sure if Revain or the seller mislabeled the item, but this bow tie will not fit a 2012 Chevy Impala or an Impala of this body style with no body work/hot welding on the grill; aka removing the original emblem from the grill with heat and cut and hoping the emblem will stick in place (HINT: I didn't even have to try, the emblem is visually too big for the intended slot even with heat/glue). So I give 5 stars for the quality of the product because it was amazing but 0 stars for my ability to use it because it is mislabeled on Revain which is about 3 stars. After some further research I found that no complete bow tie emblem can be replaced on my car model without completely removing the original emblem by heating and cutting/splicing, so I am confused as to why this item was listed as a replacement and when exactly It is clearly not designed for my car model. If it matches your car, it will look stylish and you will get a high quality product. It just wouldn't match mine, although Revain still lists it as being accurate as of 06/01/15. So Impala buyers buy with caution, please "exact match" is not always true. Of course Revain was very punctual in getting the item back to me (as they always do) and I appreciate that.
